Bumble Circles Symbols and Icons
There are different types of Bumble circles in your Bumble match queue around the profile pictures of different types of matches. We will explain the meaning of all of them in the following sections. You can also check out this video for an in-depth explanation of these circles:
You can find these green circles in you Bumble match queue around certain Bumble matches, also called Admirers. These green circles indicate that these profiles have swiped you right, but you haven’t swiped them yet.
You will only see all of these profiles if you are a Bumble Boost subscriber. If you are a subscriber you can swipe them left or like them and match with them instantly thanks to the Beeline feature. If you are not a premium Bumble subscriber, you will only see the profile picture of one profile and even her profile picture will be blurred out as in the following picture:
When you already have matched with a profile but the First Move has not yet been made, then you will see a yellow circle around the profile picture that is diminishing as time passes.
The First Move on Bumble means that once you matched with someone the women have 24 hours to send the first message or the match will disappear from the match queue. Guys can use the Extend feature to extend the period to make the first move.
You can also see sometimes a red circle around the profile pictures in your Bumble match queue. When you see the red circles it means that the first 24 hours to make the First Move is about to expire. It appears just 1 hour before the match would disappear.
When you see the red circle on Bumble and you find your match really hot or good looking, this is the perfect time to use the Extend feature that you can use once a day even if you are using a free account.
When you see a blue circle surrounding the profile pictures in your match queue, it means that you have already applied the Extend feature on that match and you have added 24 hours for the profile to make the first move.
Once this 24-hour period expires you cannot extend this Bumble match again. Every match can be extended only one time. You still have the chance to rematch with this profile again which gives another opportunity for the girl to send you the first message. To be able to use Bumble Rematch, you have to be a Bumble Boost subscriber.
You can find the Bumble Pencil icon around your profile picture on the Settings page. By tapping on it you will be able to edit your profile and upload or edit your current profile pictures.
The Bumble Boost icon that resembles a white lightning bolt on a green background is the symbol of Bumble’s only subscription package.
When you purchase a Bumble Boost subscription, you will get access to premium features of Bumble such as Unlimited Swiping, Unlimited Filters, Bumble Extend, Rematch, and Beeline.
When you want to get access to these features you can tap on this icon on your profile page and purchase a subscription.
Bumble Spotlight icon or the Bumble star is the icon of a premium feature, Bumble Spotlight that is not part of the Bumble Boost subscription. As you can see it above the symbol is a white star on a yellow background
When you use a Bumble Spotlight your profile “skips the line” for 30 minutes and becomes the top profile in your neighborhood. In this 30-minute period, your profile will get way more matches than in an average period because of the higher face time your profile gets. You have to spend 2 Bumble coins to be able to have one Spotlight session.
The blue checkmark on Bumble is the indication that the profile you see has verified itself on Bumble which means you can be pretty sure that the photos you see are real and not fake.
Don’t confuse the blue checkmark that is the icon of a verified profile with the regular checkmarks that is equal to a right swipe on the profile.
