How did he get verified? : Tinder

Ill keep this short, so I had 4-5 messages from random people on instagram saying they saw me on tinder (I dont have a tinder), didnt really think much of it, just told them to report it. But last week a guy friend I went to high school with sent me screen shots of the profile and I was surprised they are verified on tinder.

Profile seems like a bot, bio says “♞ Ŝ Ƥ – mackzjonesxxxx” the xxxx is a random 4 digit number, I dont want to give the snap on here because I dont think its the real girl. The tinder profile automatically messages all matches with a “snap me” GIF and her snap name then deletes them after few hours.

Contacted Tinder a few times and they are utterly useless, at best they tell me to report it and at worse they just copy and paste a link to their user guide. Had two people report it, Im not sure if tinder banned her and she just made another or more than likely tinder didnt do anything.

Added the person on snap and its an actual person operating the snap account and selling nudes, but I am 100% sure its just some creepy old guy selling someone elses nudes. Photos appear to be of “mackzjones” who like some famous tiktoker / onlyfans girl. But all snap posts are from camera roll not live and telling people to venmo him for dropbox files and meetups etc. Had a bunch of my friends add and report the snap but snap hasnt done anything and if you call the guy fake he automatically blocks you.

How does it work? We use a combo of trusty humans and facial recognition technology to compare the facial geometry in the selfies you submit and in your profile pics. After submission, we’ll let you know when your account has been photo verified and a checkmark will appear on your profile.

Tinder Verification? : SwipeHelper

I’m currently traveling to a new city and out of the blue I got a prompt from tinder asking me to verify my profile because of my recent app usage. I can’t off the prompt, log out, or anything. It’s forcing me to submit to verification to continue using it. I have a tinder plus subscription as well. This is the first time I’ve seen such a prompt. I’m hesitant of verifying because of how tinder retains your biometric information and the difficulty in getting it deleted from their site. Essentially they want you to submit your identity information before they give you your data or delete your information. I don’t have an issue verifying my photos; no catfishing here.
